So you can know when your Google Play balance expires

If you’ve ever taken advantage of a promotion to get a balance on Google Play like the one we brought you a few days ago , or you’ve used the Google Opinion Rewards app to get money in exchange for filling out surveys, you’ve probably wanted to know how long you can use this balance.

So far, Google did not give us the opportunity to know this information, and all we could do was spend the entire balance before it disappeared from our account as if by magic … luckily, this has just changed.

As they point out from Android Police, Google seems to be implementing a new feature in the Android app store, which allows users to check the closest date on which a part, or all the balance available to spend on Google Play, will stop be available.

You can now check the expiration date of your balance on Google Play

Although not all users are able to access this information at the moment, everything indicates that it is a new feature that will begin to reach all Android users globally sooner or later.

In order to check the remaining balance of Google Play, as well as its expiration date, simply open the store application , swipe right from the left side of the screen to display the options menu, and click on “Account” . In this menu, you will have to access the “Payment Methods” section.

In this way, at the top, the balance available for spending on Google Play will appear – if any -, accompanied by the expiration date on which, either a part of the balance, or everything that is available, will disappear.

Before finalizing, comment that it is not strictly necessary to frequently check the available balance as well as its expiration date. Google will automatically notify us whenever the expiration date approaches, so we can redeem the balance before losing it. However, it never hurts to know at all times the specific date before the money disappears.
